Badili is a Swahili word meaning “transformation.” Since 2010, Badili Centre has empowered over 3,000 women across Kenya, Ethiopia, and Nigeria through entrepreneurial and life-skills training.We work with churches and organizations to equip vulnerable women and youth with the skills they need to thrive.

Short history about Badili Centre
Badili was founded by Hannah Nginya in March 2010. While working as an intern pastor at Nairobi Pentecostal Church-Woodley, she saw the plight of vulnerable women and founded Badili Centre in answer to God’s call on her life. Since 2010, Badili has trained 2,000 women in Kenya, Ethiopia and Nigeria. Badili educates vulnerable women with the transformational truths of Scripture and equips them with entrepreneurial training so that they can start their own businesses or be attractive candidates for employment in their communities.
Badili has partnered with various churches in Kenya to conduct trainings, including:
- Nairobi Pentecostal Church
- Deliverance Church-Ngong Road
- Good Samaritan Church
- Deliverance Church-Solid Rock
Nairobi Baptist Church-Kibera Branch
and the following congregations in Africa:
- Kale Hiwott church- Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia
- Wonderful Church, Lagos, Nigeria
- Organisations that have impacted Badili positively and supported us include: Trading Hope, USA; Nairobi Pentecostal Church- Kenya; LR Parts Direct- Kenya, CMS-Africa and Breakforth International- Ireland.

In our ministry outreach section we have been able to reach out and help: African Gospel Children’s home-Nakuru, Karibu Centre- Thika, Jamuhuri Short term prison.

We also work with women from areas prone to Female Genital Mutilation to educate them on the dangers of this practice to their health.
